Knight Riders Reclaim Top Spot in IPL 2017 , Beats RPS by 7 Wickets

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR)  thrashed  Rising Pune Supergiant(RPS) in the  seven wickets win, making it their third victory over RPS in IPL 2017 and  reclaiming  top spot in the IPL 2017 points tally.

KKR did not make a big bang at the start rather RPS looked good with the bat, scoring an impressive 182 runs in the first innings.

But  Robin Uthappa and Gautam Gambhir moved in with their 158-runs partnership to take the game away from RPS.

Robin Uthappa blasted 87 off 47 balls while Gautam Gambhir slammed 62 off 46 balls

At its  core it  RPS fielders missing big catches plunged the team’s chances.


 RPS: 182/5 in 20 overs.

KKR: 184/3 in 18.1 overs

Result: KKR won by 7 wickets
