Maruti’s Q4 profits rose by 15.8 percent to Rs 1,709 crore compared with Rs 1,476.2 crore in same quarter last fiscal.
Operational revenue upped by 20.4 percent to Rs 20,751.2 crore compared year-on-year basis, driven by healthy volume growth.
The car major sold 4.14 lakh units during the quarter, a 15% rise from last fiscal and experts too increased 17.6 percent.
When demonetisation hit other brands, Maruti escaped onslaught from successful launch of IGNIS in Jan 2017 and continued demands for its Vitara Brezza introduced in March 2016.
Maruti share price rallied 10 percent in last three months.
