Truck drivers on indefinite strike from Tuesday, LPG supply to be disrupted
Mon, 1 Apr 2017 : Members of LPG Truckers Union will begin an indefinite state-wide strike on May 2, Tuesday demanding rise in pay.
The call for strike came after negotiations between Additional Labour Commissioner and the drivers failed to reach a common point.
1500 truckers from 6 plants will participate in the strike which means LPG distribution in the state will be suspended.
Though initial talks collapsed, officials will hold another round of negotiations, according to sources
