Army foils infiltration bid, 1 Jawan dies, 2 terrorists killed

In less than 24 hours after foiling infiltration bid and killing insurgents, Indian army killed three militants who tried to trespass the Line of Control(LoC) in Naugam sector in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Thursday.

On Wednesday, three heavily-armed militants were killed along LoC after gun fight.
On May 26, the Army killed two Pakistani Border Action Team(BAT) members during their attempt to pass through  LoC into Uri sector where BAT frequently ambushes patrol teams.

Next day six more militants were killed in infiltration bid in the same region.

Melting snow has opened up passages infiltrators and Pak army backed insurgency waits for to enter along LoC.
