Actress Abduction Case : Two more aides of Pulsar Suni arrested

KOCHI : Pathanamthitta native Sanal and Vishnu who lives in Edapally , aides of Pulsar Suni – the prime accused in Malayalam actress abduction case – were nabbed by police, produced before the Magistrate and taken into remand by the police, in an  operation that was closely guarded from the outside world including media.

Though actor Dileep, who was from the beginning rumoured to have links to the plot, had alleged blackmail by Suni’s aides, police have not yet registered a case in that regard and today’s arrest are part of continued  investigations in  the actress abduction case.

Sanal on Monday has been arrested for helping Pulsar Suni to make mobile calls from jail. Vishnu has been arrested for alleged alleged attempt  blackmail Dileep in connection with the actress’s case.

The  Backdrop
The popular Malayalam actress was waylaid and molested her way from Thrissur to Kochi by Suni-led 4-member gang  on 18 Feb. Suni  told the actress that he acting at behest of others urging her to co-operate in semi-nude clip recording. After the molestation, the distraught actress complained to police about the ordeal

Three days after the incident Suni and his two aides – Manikandan and Vigeesh – filed anticipatory bail at Kerala High Court but were nabbed before the case was heard and are presently lodged in jail.
