Samajwadi Party MP Azam Khan booked over derogatory comments on Indian Army
LUCKNOW : In an outburst that startled political parties across the country and public alike, Samajawadi Party MP Azam Khan said excess by security forces has led to women in some places chopping off the private parts of Army men. The incident triggered FIR registration and Khan, the former chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, has been charged with sedition .
A case had been filed at Chandpur police station in Bijnor or Friday by BJP leader Prakash Saxena.
“The remarks are shameful. Imagine the emotions of wives and family of the army men when they heard it” Saxena said
Meanwhile in a curious turn of things, VHP’s Shahjahanpur district coordinator Rajesh Kumar Awasthi has announced a reward of Rs. 50 lakh for any one who sliced the SP leader’s tongue.
