Hope against hope : Sreenivasan does not believe Dileep could be involved

ALAPPUZHA : Voicing his view on Dileep being held in custody for his alleged role in plotting sexual assault on popular Malayalam Actress, co-star and director Sreenivasan said he does not think Dileep can do something so foolish as attacking an actress.

“I think of him as a person with common sense and cannot commit such a blunder.” he said falling short of explaining recent developments including High Court refusing bail, he said he did not want to talk more on the topic as the matter is sub judice and investigations pending.
He was speaking during a visit to a coconut oil company at Onattukara in the district.

Seemingly in dementia on startling announcements by office bearers on different issues including the actress assault case , Sreenivasan said the relevance of Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) is limited to offering assistance to its 85 members and that it intervenes only if an artiste fails to get his remuneration, he added.
