Drunk youths create ruckus inside lockup; Palluruthi ,Kochi

Kochi : Dramatic scenes unfolded at  Pallurtuthi police station  as drunk youths confined there engaged in verbal abuses, exposing themselves and thrashing pipe and bucket inside the cell.

Ajeesh, Nijil from Palluruthi and Sulfikar from Perumbadappu were arrested for attacking a couple who rode on a bike.

The three were in drunken state when nabbed and started to get restive on being confined. Soon they started shouting and putting on a show attracting additional charges including destroying public property .

The three were produced before court and remanded.

According to police two have drug-related cases pending against them.
