Authorities limit visitors to Dileep at Aluva subjail

Aluva, KERALA : In the wake of sudden surge of  visitors to Aluva sub jail to meet jailed actor Dileep, the police have placed restrictions to number of visits by friends, family and relatives now on.

Soon after Dileep’s wife Kavya and daughter Meenakshy visited him on 3 Sept, several people from the film industry showed up to meet the actor who is accused of masterminding the sensational case where a popular Malayalam actress was abducted and sexually assaulted in moving car on 17 Feb.

The restraining move comes following allegations that jail norms were being violated in allowing a flood of people to visit the actor due to face trial.

On Friday, eight people were turned down when they sought to visit the actor.
