Congress leader attacked; 6-member gang cut the genitals

Thiruvananthapuram : A 6-member gang attacked Congress leader from Piriyakode at his home on Thursday seriously injuring him and severing the genitals.

Sajikumar, Maranalloor Mandalam Committee Secretary,  also has fractures to his limbs and has been admitted to the Medical College where his condition is said to be serious.

The Hospital said Saji will need surgeries to all his four limbs.

He is an empanelled driver at KSRTC and police are of the view that it is not a case of political vengeance.
