Real estate broker murdered; Prominent Kochi lawyer on suspect list

Chalakudy : Rajiv, a real estate agent at Pariyaram in Chalakudy , was found strangulated to death on Friday and police have  a prominent lawyer from Kochi on their suspect list.

Rajiv was discovered dead inside a deserted building at Pariyaram.

Three men who took part in the killing have been reportedly identified and taken into custody.

The crime came to light when a local, Raju, up on hearing noises from the unoccupied building walked in to check.

A man heavy on drinks shoved him out following which police visited the site.

Police said arrests will be made soon enough.
