India has opened two crossing points along borders with Myanmar and Bangladesh, official notification said.
India shares a 4,096-km-long border with Bangladesh which touches Assam, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya and West Bengal.
Similarly our country shares 1,643 km border with Myanmar that touches Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur and Mizoram.
A central notification said, Zorinpui land check post in Lawnglai district of Mizoram is now laid open for entry and exit purposes for those with valid travel documents for all classes of passengers to or from Myanmar.
Similarly Kawpurichhuahcheck post in Lunglei district of Mizoram is the authorised immigration point for entry to or from India for all classes of passengers with valid documents seeking to gain entry to or from Bangladesh.
