Modi Temple Worth Rs. 30 to come up in UP, Statue 100-ft
A grand temple worth Rs. 30 crore with Narendra Modi enshrined, would be built in Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut district with a 100 foot statue of the Prime Minister.
The stone laying ceremony for the project will take place on October 23 and BJP chief Amit Shah is expected to attend the event.
A retired engineer and ardent supporter of Modi, J P Singh announced his decision to erect PM’s statue.
The Modi Temple will take two years to complete, said Singh who was formerly employed with Irrigation Department.
Asked about the project Singh said “I like PM Modi’s policies since decades, but I was still in job and not able to do anything for him”.
