Actress Assault Case : Police to file Chargesheet this week
Kochi : According to sources close to team probing the sensational abduction case where a popular Malayalam actress was waylaid and sexually assaulted in a moving car on Feb 17, the chargesheet will be filed this week.
The delay occurred owing to detailed discussions on legal aspects, they said.
The policeman who allowed main accused Pulsar Suni to use his mobile to send a voice clip to actor Dileep has turned approver and his statement has been put on record. The move was reportedly the last pending step before finalizing the chargesheet.
On variation in order in which Dileep figures as accused from previous 7th and Pulsar Suni as 7th, the team declined to comment
