Forged documents case : but HC asks not to arrest Suresh Gopi

KOCHI: In its hearing of anticipatory bail petition submitted actor MP Suresh Gopi, the Kerala High Court has asked not to arrest Suresh Gopi in the Podicherry registration case.

The case submitted by Traffic Dept relates to  forging documents and getting his luxury car registered in Pondicherry in order to evade multiple times Kerala road tax.

No arrest shall be made for next three weeks, the court said today.

Meanwhile, the court instructed the MP to completely cooperate with the police investigation.

He is also asked by the court to appear before the investigating officer on December 21.

Actor Fahad Faisal and Amala Paul are other stars who face similar charges.
