Cop in MP Aims Gun at Cong Leader Kamal Nath, Overpowered by Other Officers

A policeman deployed for security in Madhya Pradesh allegedly pointed his gun at senior Congress leader Kamal Nath at Chhindwara airtstrip on Friday, but was quickly overpowered by officers around.

The incident took place when Nath was about to board a chartered plane for Delhi from a small airport in Chhindwara, about 320 km from state capital Bhopal around 5 pm.

The constable Ratnesh Pawar has been suspended.

Nath represents Chhindwara in Lok Sabha and is it’s longest serving MP, elected nine times from Chhindwara.
