Payback : 3 Pak soldiers killed as Indian Army crosses LoC to Avenge Saturday Attack
As Indian army shelled crossing over Line of Control(LoC)er, in retaliation to unprovoked ceasefire that killed its Army Major and three other soldiers on Saturday, three Pakistani soldiers were killed in the attack.
Indian side launched attack in Rakhchikri in Pakistan’s Rawalakot sector.
One of the dead soldiers is believed to have been a sniper.
India initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation, reported a Pakistani media.
The behind-the-enemy-lines operation is reminiscent of India’s 2016’s surgical strikes, which the army conducted in response to Uri Attack.
On September 18, 2016, four Pakistani terrorists had attacked the army post at Uri in Jammu and Kashmir killing 19 soldiers.
Eleven days later, the army conducted surgical strike across the LoC and destroyed terrorist launch pads and killed several top terrorists.
