Humiliating Jadhavs : Declare War, Split Pak Into 4 Parts, Says Subramanian Swamy

New Delhi : Following national outrage on Pakistan prison authorities humiliating Khulbhushan Jadhav’s wife and mother by asking them to remove their mangalsutra and bangles, BJP MP Subramanian Swamy in an emotional response said India should declare war and destroy Pakistan

Pakistan should be torn apart into four pieces for a permanent solution, he said.

“Serious homework for the war should begin right now” Swamy added.

He tweeted saying forcing Jadhav’s mother and wife to remove symbolic jewellery should not go unavenged.

“Before targeting Hindu women for not putting sindoor on their forehead, first avenge the removal of Mangal Sutra from Jad’s wife by Pakistan” read his tweet.

The Ministry for External Affairs(MEA) had yesterday revealed details of Jadav meeting his family on Christmas day. The Ministry’s statement detailed hours of humiliation faced by his mother Avanti Jadhava and wife Chetankul Jadhav.

Swamy also said MEA should stop issuing medical visas for Pakistanis.

The Backdrop

Jadhav was arrested on March 3, 2016 from the Balochistan province by security forces in Pakistan after he allegedly entered the territory from Iran. Following trial, a military court sentenced him death earlier this month after the court martial found him guilty of “espionage and sabotage activities” in Pakistan.

Pakistan further maintains  that Jadhav was “a serving officer in the Indian Navy” and a “confessional video”  to the effect was released shortly after his  arrest.

India denied any connection with  Jadhav but acknowledged  he  served in the Indian Navy in the past.

With the whole country rallying behind, external Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj  had warned Pakistan earlier that if execution were to be carried out, it will amount to “pre-meditated murder” and the neighbouring country should “consider its consequences” on  relations then on.

India approached ICJ and has procured a say on the execution meanwhile
