Modi Hits Back; Says Kashmir would have been ours if Sardar Patel was 1st PM

In a heated speech that lasted an hour and half Prime Minister Narendra Modi slammed previous Congress governments that kept the country under the” rule of one family”.

The uninterrupted speech highlighted achievements of his government and contrasted it with Congress regime.

The NPA mess banks are dodged with is a result of earlier governance, he said. “They are behind it 100 percent” Modi said.

On the border issues, Modi said Congress leaders were busy meeting Chinese officials while Indian Army were fighting them in Doklam and the same people now criticise surgical strikes, he added.

A visibly agitated PM said “Kashmir would have been ours if Sardar Patel was the first PM” and went on to ask how one could claim that “Nehru gave us Democracy ?”.

Post the address Rahul said Modi did not speak on the Rafale deal, farmers’ distress or raging unemployment in the country. Modiji speaks like an opposition leader not PM, he added.
