“I Quit” wrote the AIIMS student before he went missing

“I Quit” read the note left behind by a second-year Kashmiri student of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS),Bhubhaneswar, before he went missing more  two weeks ago.

Suhail Aijiaz, a second-year MBBS student, left his hostel on 9 Feb seeking to attend a wedding in Chandigarh. While he told authorities he would return by Feb 1, Suhail never showed up since.

A man-missing complaint was lodged by AIIMS following which the police found the “I Quit” note in his room.

The cops  trailed  his mobile tower location to Kolkata after which the device has been switched off to-date.

“We are in touch with Howrah police and CID West Bengal as the youth’s last known location was somewhere in Howrah”, the Commissioner of Police YB Khurania said.

It has been found there was no such wedding as stated by Suhail.

Meanwhile his father Aijaz Ahmed  reached Bhubhaneswar and told the police he has no clues to the son’s disappearance, adding,  he spoke with Suhail last on Feb 7 and sensed nothing amiss.
