New Delhi : In the latest twist to the alleged assault by AAP MLAs on Delhi Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash, police on Monday said the CCTV footage they obtained from the chief minister Arvind Kejriwas is has been tampered with.
According to them, the timestamp on the clip does not match the sequence of events.
The police will now send the footage to Forensic Science laboratory for detailed examination.
Meanwhile Delhi govt is mulling to livestream all official meetings once it is approved in the cabinet and duly funded in upcoming budget.
Prakash was allegedly abused and slapped by Aam Admi Party MLAs during a midnight meeting summoned at Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residence on Feb 19.
Following the incident, the Delhi IAS officers had staged a strike and demanded security to officers to prevent such instance in future.
