SFI leader suspended from college for ridiculing national anthem

Kochi : An SFI leader has been suspended from Muvattupuzha Nirmala college for allegedly demonstrating disrespect for the National Anthem.

Aslam Saleem, a former unit secretary of SFI at Nirmala College, reportedly videoed fellow students who stood for the Anthem, poking fun.

The footage that went viral shows Aslam walking in the class while the National Anthem plays

Aslam is a third year Communicative English student at National College

A police case has been registered in the incident.
