Pathanjali Jeans Coming : Baba Ramdev All Set To Launch Clothing Line

Goa : Yoga Guru and co-founder of Pathanjali Ayuveda, Baba Ram Dev, today announced that his company will venture into garment manufacturing business in 2019.

“People keep asking me about launching jeansin the the market. So we have decided  to launch garment products, including ethnic wear, catering to kids, men and women next year”, the 52-year-old guru said.

He was speaking at the ongoing Goa Fest 2018 organised by the Advertising Agencies Association of India

Sports and Yoga wear will be part of the apparels line, he said

Last year, Ramdev had announced his plans to foray into garment business with swadeshi line clothing.

And L Catterton private equity fund, co-owned by Louis Vuitton had offered to invest USD 500 million (Rs. 31,84,67,50,000 crore) in the swadeshi venture.

The amount proposed amounts to nearly half of Louis Vuitton’s investment in entire Asia.
