Salman Khan Blackbuck Poaching Case : Bail Plea Adjourned to Sat
Jodhpur : Bail plea from actor Salman Khan, who was sentenced to five-year prison term for poaching blackbucks, was adjourned to Saturday.
The case pertains to shooting of two blackbucks in Kankani village near Jodhpur 1998 during a shooting of the film Hum Saath Saath Hain.
Other stars accused in the case including Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, Neelam and Tabu were acquitted for lack of evidence.
District and Sessions Court Judge Ravindra Kumar Joshi said today that her has reserved the judgement till April 7 meaning, Salman Khan will spend his second night in the prison.
Salman was charged under Section 51 of Wild life (Protection) Act and others under 51 read with Section 149 (unlawful assembly) of Indian Penal Code.
