Trump Withdraws US From Iran Nuclear Deal

Calling it “decaying and rotten” US President Donald Trump said he will withdraw his country from the Obama-era nuclear deal with Iran.

Trump added that he will institute the “highest level” of economic sanctions against Iran.

The decision comes in contrast to US allies who favour the deal and Trump warned “Any nation that helps Iran in its quest for nuclear weapons could also be strongly sanctioned by US. America will not be held hostage to nuclear blackmail.”

Trump further derided the Iran nuclear deal as an embarrassment that gave the regime dollars at the same time it sponsored terrorism.

Responding to the move, Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani said “The US has announced that it does not respect its commitments”.

Iran will enrich uranium with limitations, he added.
