Pak pleads ceasefire during day and violates it at night

Pakistani Rangers today fired mortar shells on border outposts at several places in Jammu Kashmir’s Amls sector one day after “pleading” for ceasefire on being pounded in Samba district yesterday that left one of their men dead.

Today’s attack occurred around 7 am this morning.

Unprovoked attack by Pakistan prompted retaliation by Border Security Force(BSF) and cross firing at the International border continues.

No casualties have been reported so far except for a civilian woman who is said to have been injured.

Last night, Pakistani army fired small arms and mortars, tartetting Narayanpur area of Ramgarh sector in Samba district hours after “pleading” with BSF to stop heavy firing that left their one trooper dead.

The border posts have faced at least 700 incidents of unprovoked Pak firing this year.
