The Murder
SH Mount natïve Kevin Joseph and Thenmala resident Neenu Chacko got married at sub-registrar office on Friday against her parents wishes.

Her family including gulf-employed brother Shanu and father gave a man missing complaint following which the Sub-Inspector at Gandhinagar police station summoned both parties.

Despite the marriage the police allegedly sided with her parents and directed Neenu to go alongwith her parents.

A noisy scene erupted and  Neenu stood her ground to  live with Kevin.

Sensing trouble, Kevin moved Neenu secretly to a lady’s hostel in Amancherry. On Sunday, Shanu, Niyas and a gang of armed men attacked the house and abducted Kevin.

His body with eyes reportedly carved out and neck wounds, was found at the water’s edge in Chalikkara stream around 20 km away from Thenmala.
