School Building Collapses, Students Have A Narrow Escape : Vaikom

Kottayam : Students of Vaikom Govt Boys High School had a lucky escape today when a block of their school building collapsed but before classes began for the day.

The mishap took place around 8.30 in Monday morning averting a major tragedy for students who start to pour in from 9 am.

The building is more than 50 years.

The block that came down houses science lab and store for desks and benches.

The school remain shut for the day
