Donations into CM Flood Relief Fund crosses Rs 700 cr

Thiruvananthapuram : Donations to Chief ministers’s Distress Relief Fund crossed Rs 700 crores on Monday of which Rs 132.68 cr was donated via CMDRF payment gateway and UPI. Rs 43 cr came via Paytm.

The window to donate has been put up on the website https://donation.cmdrf.kerala.gov.in Apart from eight banks listed on the link, people can now donate through payment gateway and Razorpay gateways of IDBI bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Axis Bank and Punjab National Bank.

From the Rs. 713.92 cr donations as on Monday, Rs. 518.24 crore was poured into CMDRF SBI account while Rs. 20 crores were given by the way of cheques and drafts at chief minister’s office last week.

Meanwhile Citibank has announced to add in Rs 500 for every donation over Rs 250 made using their card on the bank’s site.

Bengaluru based Flipkart said donations are being collected through a charity organisation. Fashion portal Myntra has also put up call toward CMDRF donations.
