‘Chehre’ movie; Amithabh Bachchan did the movie for free, paid for his own chartered flight
Bollywood living legend, also known as the Big B of Indian cinema, Amitabh Bachchan did not charge any money for his latest film chehre. No actor can be seen acting in films without a minimum remuneration even if the script is too convincing or is close to their heart.
The new movie Chehre is all set to hit cinemas on August 27. The producer of the film didn’t have to pay even a single amount to the actor for the film and the actor worked in the film for free. Moreover, the legendary actor also took care of his travel expenses while shooting in Europe, he paid for his own expenses for the chartered flight.
Producer of the film, Anand Pandit told PeepingMoon that “To avoid any trouble while filing the tax books we decided to give the friendly appearance credits to Amitabh Bachchan. He was so very professional and committed that he also put his own money into the commute.”
Chehre, the mystery-thriller, directed by Rumi Jafry, also stars Emraan Hashmi, Krystle D’Souza, Rhea Chakraborty, and others. The film suffered several delays due to the Covid pandemic and now it is all set to release in theatres.
