Narendra Modi’s 71st birthday; Rahul Gandhi, Aravind Kejriwal showers wish on the PM

On the occasion of the birthday of PM Modi, many leaders extended their wishes to Modi and many praised his contributions to the country. The Congress leader Rahul Gandhi who always targets the Modi-led government also took Twitter to convey his wishes to the PM on his 71st birthday.

“Happy Birthday, Modi ji,” Rahul Gandhi commented on Twitter which is considered odd by many users. In contrary to his comment, the Indian Youth Congress has organized various programs across the country on the occasion to mark the day as ‘National Unemployment Day’. The Twitter users are also wondering why the Congress leader extended the wish when the Indian Youth Congress is observing the day as unemployment day.

Leaders including President Ram Nath Kovind and Vice President Venkaiah Naidu have greeted PM Modi on his birthday. Moreover, both supporters and critics of PM Modi wished him on Twitter with the trending hashtag #HappyBdayModiji. One of the ferocious critics of Modi, Delhi Chief Minister Aravind Kejriwal also took Twitter to congratulate Modi on his Birthday. “Birthday greetings to PM Shri Narendra Modi. I pray for your long and healthy life,” Kejriwal posted.

The ruling BJP has planned to conduct several programs in accordance with PM’s birthday day celebration. BJP will start the ‘Seva and Samarpan Abhiyan’ program at Delhi Headquarters soon which will run till October 7 this year.
