‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’ Telugu remake; Rana Daggubati to play Daniel Shekhar in ‘Bheemla Nayak’
‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’ is one of the most acclaimed films in the Malayalam film industry and was a huge hit of 2020. The project has also got a lot of attention among Telugu film lovers as it is gearing up for its remake.
The film stars Pawan Kalyan and Rana Dagubatti in the lead roles. Being it the official remake of Malayalam’s super hit movie Ayyappanum Koshiyum, the Telugu movie named ‘Bheemla Nayak’ is being directed by Sagar K Chandra. The movie stars Nithya Menon as the female lead.
The movie is named after the Telugu version of the character played by Biju Menon – ‘Bheemla Nayak’. Though not with the title of the film, the cast has announced the name of the character played by Rana Dagubatti.
The Malayalam movie Ayyappanum Koshiyum is the story of its title characters -Ayyappan Nair and Koshy Kurian, who lock horns over an incident and their egos take them on a wild trip.
The makers of the film unveiled the first look poster of Pawan Kalyan as Bheemla Nayak and are set to reveal Rana Daggubati’s character Daniel Shekhar on September 20.
The filming is progressing in Hyderabad and the Telugu version will hit the screens in 2022. The title song of the film, which was released earlier, also attracted a lot of attention in the film industry.
