Priyanka Chopra all set to co-host Global Citizen Festival in Paris
Indian actress and model, Priyanka Chopra is all set to co-host the Global Citizen Festival which is to be held in Paris. Priyanka took her Instagram page to share her happiness for being the co-host of the festival. Priyanka Chopra shared a glimpse of the Global Citizen Festival 2021 from Paris with a note stating, “I’m gonna be there tomorrow.. Will you?”.
Global Citizen Festival is one of the initiatives by an organization founded in 2008 named Global Citizen. The aim is to eradicate extreme poverty in the world by 2030. By contributing to charity acts on the website, including watching videos and signing petitions, fans can get free tickets to the festival. The spectacular musical event, called ‘Global Citizen Live’, is a year-long campaign for an equitable global recovery amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Denis Brogniart will be the partner in hosting the show in Paris along with Priyanka. Several other renowned artists will be performing at the event simultaneously held in New York, Paris, Los Angeles, London, Lagos, Rio de Janeiro, Mumbai, and Sydney.
Priyanka is currently UNICEF’s Goodwill Ambassador, and on the Bollywood front, Priyanka will play one of the leads in Farhan Akhtar’s recently announced ‘Jee Le Zaraa’ alongside Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt.
