Royal Enfield achieved a Guinness Record for having the highest live viewership during the launch broadcast of the all-new Royal Enfield Classic 350 on YouTube.
The launch of the vehicle was in September and its broadcast was done live on YouTube. The media reported that this event has been included in the Guinness Book of World Records. On September 1, as many as 19,564 viewers witnessed the launch, beating the existing record standing at 13,779 viewers. This is the first time that a bike launch event has been viewed by so many people live on YouTube.
The brand new engine has a number of enhancements. The Royal Enfield Classic 350 is powered by a 349.34 cc air-cooled engine which produces power. Royal Enfield Classic 350 starts at Rs 1.84 and goes up to Rs 2.15 Lakh. It has a fuel tank of 13 L and It is available in five variants. The 350 ccs, SOHC engine makes 20.2 bhp at 6,100 rpm, 27 Nm at 4,000 rpm. The suspension now incorporates fatter 41 mm front forks, with more travel on the dual rear shocks to offer a better ride.
The 19-inch entrance and 18-inch wheels are thicker too, shod with fatter rubber, with a 100 mm entrance part tyre, and 120 mm part rear tyre. The vehicle has been given innovative designs to retain the retro classic look as well as elegance. The design features a round headlamp with chrome bezel, circular indicator, chrome-plated exhaust, round rearview mirror, petrol tank with a teardrop design, and front and rear fenders.
The Classic 350 was popular worldwide, inspiring Indian leisure riding culture and redefining the medium motorcycle segment. With several new models planned in the future, Royal Enfield is currently aiming to become to reach the top in the world’s medium-sized motorcycle segment.
