UAE Health Ministry to issue birth certificates through WhatsApp soon

MoAHP- the ministry of Health and Prevention in UAE will soon issue birth certificates through WhatsApp for UAE nationals and residents. MoAHP also announced a number of services that would benefit the UAE locals and the birth certificate through WhatsApp has been revealed during the GITEX Technology Week 2021 which began on October 17.

The move is in line with the ministry’s plans to support and coordinate the smart government objectives. “With the new scheme, the customer experience would be enriched and it would also enhance communication channels with the public using a smooth and simplified methodology based on advanced systems and international best practices,” said the Ministry in a statement to the media. 

Artificial intelligence technology is used to respond to customer inquiries through the “virtual assistant. The technology works based on which it can learn and comprehend their needs based on their inquiries.

 “Residents are taking advantage of the use of social media apps and the ease of using them. It is part of the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to facilitate transactions and provide services quickly and efficiently, saving more time and effort,” said amir Al Khoury, director of IT Department, MoHAP.

According to the available data, the virtual assistant can also analyze and evaluate customer needs and further responding accurately to customer inquiries.

Moreover, to maintain privacy and to balance the technical errors, service was developed according to international best standards. Here, all messages exchanged are encrypted to ensure high levels of security and reliability.
