Indian born Sikh American Raunak Nirmal joins the Forbes 30 under 30 List

It is a pride moment for all Indians that an Indian origin from Punjab has been added to the list of Forbes 30 under 30 lists. India-born Sikh American named Raunak Nirmal has made his name registered in one the most reputed magazines in the world in the category of Retail and E-commerce, The Quint reported.

“Things aren’t gonna get handed down to you. You have to be the one that does it,” these are the words of Raunak Nirmal who has been honored in his respective field.

The 29-year-old Raunak Nirmal is a young entrepreneur and is the co-founder and CEO of an online company Acquco. Acquco works with third-party e-commerce sellers and they go out to acquire brands and allow them to participate in the growth of their brands alongside them. 

Moreover, the members of this year’s list were handpicked from thousands of nominations and an expert panel was there to monitor the list. 

Nirmal’s company Acquco raised $160 million to acquire businesses that will generate some $250 million in revenue this year. Raunak also worked as an analyst at Amazon right out of college and started several Amazon companies himself. He was the first Sikh-American to immigrate to the United States from India with his parents at the age of seven.

Nirmal has also given away Teslas for leads on deals in the white-hot space and is in the process of raising around $400 Million, targeting an IPO next year or two. Getting a place on the Forbes list is not an easy task for an e-businessman, and in just 7 years, this 29-year-old has made it happen and made everyone proud of his work.
