Sony Pictures unveils ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’ part 1 trailer; Film releases in October 2022

The first look teaser of the upcoming animated superhero film ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’ has been released by Sony Pictures on December 5. The new version is expected to be a treat for all the spidey fans out there in and around the world.

The sequel to the oscar-winning Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse had been titled Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and will be coming out next year.  Also, it suggests that more sequel series are yet to come in the coming years.

The film is expected to release on October 7, 2022. In India, it will also release in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages. The venture has been directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, and Justin K. Thompson. 

Phil Lord, Chris Miller, Amy Pascal, Avi Arad, and Christina Steinberg are returning as producers. Alonzo Ruvalcaba is co-producing. Lord and Miller have also been credited as writers on the film, along with David Callaham.

The trailer which has been unveiled recently will chronicle Miles Morales (Shameik Moore), the hero from the ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’, as he groups up with Miguel O’Hara (Oscar Isaac), ‘Spider-Man 2099’, and Spider-Gwen (Hailee Steinfeld) to face off with a powerful super-villain.

The first version of the movie ‘Spider-Verse’ was a smash hit for Sony, grossing $375.5 million worldwide and earning Sony Animation’s first Oscar win for a best-animated feature.
