Before the adieu by 2021, the yeast witnessed a bizarre event from Texas last week when the weather department reported fish falling from the sky during a rainstorm. More than expected water was falling from the sky when it rained heavily in Texarkana, Texas on 29 December and the phenomenon of fish falling along with the rain has happened at 4:30 p.m, CNN reported.
The city told residents on Facebook the fish was likely picked up by a waterspout. According to USA Today, raining fish is a phenomenon called ‘animal rain’ that happens when small water animals such as frogs, crabs, or small fish are swept into waterspouts. They are then rained down at the same time as the rain.
“I cannot believe it, I don’t know what happened, I haven’t seen it before,” responded one of the residents in Texarkana, Jeanie tucker. The weather department also mentioned that the event does happen in a while in some areas and was already expected in researches.
“2021 is pulling out all the tricks… including raining fish in Texarkana today. And no, this isn’t a joke,” The City of Texarkana wrote in the Facebook post.
A user reacted to the post and wrote, “We thought it was hail hitting our car but it was fish from Heaven.” While another user wrote,” I hope it never actually rains cats and dogs.” Yet another added, “Oh wow that’s crazy.”
