Pranav Mohanlal starrer ‘Hridayam’ continues the dream run, the film crosses 20-crore mark worldwide

Pranav Mohanlal starrer ‘Hridayam’ which has been running successfully in theatres, Crosses 10 crores in Kerala and 20 crores worldwide. Despite the closure on January 23 lockdown, the film witnessed a fantastic rush after the first five days of its release. Helmed by Vineeth Sreenivasan, the movie has so far created a buzz over the youngsters as well as social media, though there are mixed reactions for the movie. 

The film, written and directed by Vineeth Sreenivasan, was released in theatres on January 21 and recorded the third biggest opening day for a Mollywood film in recent times. The film which was planned for its release in 2019, was postponed due to the Covid pandemic days. 

According to the latest updates from the trade experts, Hridayam has made a total gross collection of Rs. 10.5 Crore from the Kerala box office alone, within the first 5 days of its release. When it comes to the worldwide box office, the Pranav Mohanlal-Vineeth Sreenivasan project has crossed the prestigious 20-Crore mark.

The coming-of-age drama film was produced by Visakh Subramaniam through Merryland Cinemas and co-produced by Noble Babu Thomas through Big Bang Entertainments. The film stars Pranav Mohanlal, Kalyani Priyadarshan, and Darshana Rajendran. The film’s songs and background score were composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab.
