WhatsApp: Here’s the way to retrieve and read the deleted messages

The social media messaging platform WhatsApp has been introducing newer features that offer users to have useful features. There are many key features that have been used by users in the latest go and many are anxiously waiting for other features to be introduced. Meanwhile, the feature of deleting a message when sent unknowingly has been now getting an update and as per reports, the users can now read the deleted messages, India Today reported.

As per the big feature introduced by WhatsApp, if you accidentally transfer a message to any contact or send a misspelled message, you can delete it immediately. WhatsApp gives 1 hour of time to delete the message you sent accidentally, and the notification of ‘delete for everyone’ will not appear after 1 hour. Instead, you can view a message- ‘delete for me’. Then WhatsApp deleted messages will no longer be able to view for users.

Meanwhile, since a dedicated “message delete” box is not included in a chat, Instagram has implemented the same feature better. However, there is a way to read a message which has been deleted from the chat by the sender. There is nothing much we could do for it, apart from downloading a third-party app to read the message.

To view the deleted message, download the app ”Get Deleted Messages” app, where the app could only be used in Android-run smartphones. It allows you to read deleted WhatsApp messages and media. When a message is deleted, the app sends a notification to users. So, you can go into the downloaded app and check it out.

However, the app will ask for some of the permission in the smartphone, as it has been done for many other installed apps. Also, the app’s privacy policy states that it doesn’t collect personal information.
