The government of India banned 16 YouTube channels for spreading fake news about the country’s security. The Ministry of Information has issued directions to ban 10 Indian and 6 Pakistani-based Youtube channels citing that these channels spread fake news. When the cumulative count has been taken, the viewership is counted to be 68 crores, The Mint reported.
