Cricketer Shubman Gill’s request to Elon Musk to buy ‘Swiggy’ rocks the internet; gets trolled for his tweet
Indian cricketer Shubman Gill in a tweet requested the billionaire Elon Musk to buy the food delivery app ‘Swiggy’ so as to make the delivery fast. Soon after he posted the tweet, the internet came into storm trolling Subhuman for his childish tweet to Elon Musk.
“Elon musk, please buy Swiggy so they can deliver on time,” the Gujarat Titans opener Shubman Gill tweeted. In no time, the post went viral after which netizens and a fake account of Swiggy trolled the Team India cricketer for his request.

The tweet of Shubman Gill was followed by the recent news that Elon Musk bought Twitter for $44billion. Thereafter several social media sites and internet users have come forward to take a look at Elon Musk’s ongoing moves and his decisions as to the new man of Twitter.

Interestingly, Shubman Gill is an opener for the Gujarat Titans in IPL 2022 and one of the latest sponsors of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is the Indian grocery delivery platform Swiggy Instamart. Twitter users trolled the cricketer hard after Swiggy started trending in India as his tweet went viral.
As per the report, an unofficial Swiggy tweet could be seen posted on Twitter following the cricketer’s post. “We are still faster than your batting in T20 cricket.” Swiggy replied to Gill’s request from their original Twitter account “Hi Shubman Gill. Twitter or no Twitter, we just want to make sure all is well with your orders (that is if you’re ordering). Meet us in DM with your details, we’ll jump on it quicker than any acquisition ^Saikiran”.
