Twitter may not be free for all, maybe a slight cost for commercial & govt users: Elon Musk

A recent tweet posted by Elon Musk on Twitter reads that “Twitter will always be free for casual users, but maybe a slight cost for commercial/government user”. The declaration has been made by Elon musk in his move to boost the social media platform’s working procedure and users have been eagerly waiting for his move after he acquired Twitter.

The recent tweet by Elon Musk has been flooded with comments and many commented both in a positive way and negative ways. However, Twitter declined to comment when contacted by Reuters. Tesla chief Musk has been suggesting a series of changes to Twitter since last month. After adding the company to his cart recently, Musk said he wanted to enhance the platform with new features, make the algorithms open source to increase trust, defeat spam bots, and authenticate all humans.

It was last week there came a confirmation about the Twitter takeover by Elon Musk. The Twitter officials unanimously agreed to sell the microblogging site to the billionaire Elon Musk at $44billion. After Musk’s acquisition, it is unclear whether the current CEO Parag Agrawal would get terminated or not. 

Moreover, Musk has told potential investors that he could return Twitter to the public markets as soon as three years after buying it, the Wall Street Journal reported earlier Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.
