Hardik Patel who quit Congress recently set to join BJP 

As per the latest report from ANI, Hardik Patel is all set to join in BJP and the official announcement came on May 31. The day before, Hardik Patel had said that he would not join the BJP, however, the reports that have come out now are the opposite of his stand. Recently the politician quit his previous allianced party Congress and confirmed his part in BJP. 

Hardik Patel, who was the working president of the Pradesh Congress Committee in Gujarat, left the party on the 28th of this month. Handing over his resignation letter to Sonia Gandhi, Hardik Patel made it clear that he would work for the people of Gujarat. Hardik Patel was unhappy with the move to bring Naresh Patel to Congress. 

Patel’s decision to join BJP comes just ahead of the Gujarat Assembly polls. The western state is slated to go to the polls by the end of this year. The 28-year-old politician in his parting note blamed the Congress leadership for not being serious about the polls before there make a confirmation about his entry into BJP.

It is confirmed that Hardik Patel will join the BJP on June 2 in the presence of state president C R Patil,” BJP’s state spokesperson Yagnesh Dave said. Hardik Patel alleged that the Gujarath Congress leaders tried to intervene and resist his political efforts ‘sitting in AC rooms’.  These allegations might be the first cause of the sudden step down by this politician from the Congress party, state media believe. 

“I have the courage to resign from the Congress party. I am sure my colleagues and the people of Gujarat will welcome my decision. I believe I can really work for Gujarat through this step, ”Hardik Patel wrote on Twitter, sharing his resignation letter to Congress President Sonia Gandhi.
